Successful Last Test for Siliko Vrhnika

The Coach of Siliko Vrhnika, Mile Simeunović, was satisfied with the performance after the win 4 : 1 against FC Trzin in the last round of 1st Slovenian Futsal League before the beginning of the Main Round of UEFA Champions League.  

»We wanted to give the opportunity to all the players to play. They all played, even the young ones, they all got the needed minutes on the floor, and they all used them very well. The score was probably even too low, based on what we watched on the floor, but hats off to their goalkeeper, he was unbelievable tonight«.

The coach of the reigning Slovenian Champions admitted that their minds are already at the Tournament next week and spoke about the preparations and expectations.

»This week we had good training sessions, the boys are 100% focused on champions league and we can’t wait for the start of the tournament. We know we will have really hard matches against extraordinary tough opponents. Both Ukrainian teams are extremely good, surely a level or two higher quality opponents than what we are used to, so there is no doubt it will be tough and we will do our best to get a good result. Our wish and first goal is to start the tournament well, so that, hopefully we can enter the last day with fate in our own hands. As I said, however, it won’t be easy«.
