Vrhnika’s first historic Win in the Main Round

There was some concerns among supporters of home team before the match, how much fuel was still left in the tank of young Slovenians after heroic and exhausting battle against Ukrainian power house FC KYIV just 24 hrs before.

FC Vrhnika started strong, completely dominated first few minutes and just after 3,5 minutes, the score was already 2-0. Quick lead, however, seemed to slow them down and by the end of the first half FC FORCA managed to get the score to 2-2.

The home team was desperately trying to once again take over the control of the match, and they finally managed to score the goal that put them back in front just 3,5 minutes until the end. Just moments later the home captain Tod Ciuha sealed the game with his third goal of the night.
